Are these big enough to be useful?
For small flowers, yes, and that is what they are for. Daisies, pansies, violets, buttercups, small ferns and single petals all press beautifully at three inches. For a whole bouquet you want Flora or Lilabelle.
Why two presses?
Two means you can press twice as much at once, keep one in a bag and one at home, or give one away. It is also why they make such a good gift: the set splits.
Are they good for children?
They are a lovely size for small hands, and pressing is a patient, quiet activity that children take to. An adult should tighten the wing nuts.
What paper do they use, and what happens when I run out?
Sixteen blotting sheets come in the box. After that, our A4 Flower Press Paper is the one to buy: each sheet cuts into six 3 inch squares, so one pack gives you sixty. Scissors, two minutes, done.
